The award is presented by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design for the most innovative products worldwide. Siedle took part in the competition for the first time last year - and won its first American design award straight award. |

| The communication system Siedle-Steel has already received numerous honours, among them the red dot product design award, the Architecture and Building Innovation Award and the Premio Intel Design Award from Milan. |
